Now that 'Dear Zindagi' has released and it's been received well by the audience,
Alia Bhatt reveal which was the toughest part for her while shooting for the film. Speaking to Bombay Times Alia said, 'The toughest part while shooting for 'Dear Zindagi' was that there were no crutches for my character (Kiara) in this one. In 'Udta Punjab', my character had a lot of crutches, like she was abducted, drug abuse, but in 'Dear Zindagi' she is a very regular girl. When you are trying to live someone's journey with no extra drama that's when it is most difficult because then you have to make the character very believable and to do that you have to really get the character. I think that was my toughest.'
While speaking about her choice of roles, Alia said how the length of her role never bothers her but the essence of it does, 'I feel it's the whole rounding up to the character. I mean what's the point if I am there in the whole film but my character is not really rounding up at the end of it then what's the point of being there for those two hours. In 'Kapoor and Sons' I was there for like 40 minutes but the part was rounded up.'
